Our '73 Pantera was originally owned by Mike Mayberry, of Mayberry Lincoln Mercury in Hollywood, California. The second owner was Jim Tury, who had the car through the late 1970s. My grandfather bought the car when Jim's job transferred him out of the country, and the vehicle has been in our family ever since. The car is essentially stock, with the exception of a Ford Duraspark ignition, Edelbrock Performer intake and a Holley carb. A Wilkenson radiator/fan setup keeps her cool while she rides on a set of Pantera East Campy replicas. Precision Pro-Formance recently replaced a host of thirty-something parts (suspension bushings/brake lines/ball joints/half-shafts) prior to making its way to Maui. The car has gone through a bare metal restoration at LIC Autobody in Wailuku. A Comp Cams cam and new carburetor is the start of the continuing engine modifications .
Scott and Debi Mead's 1973 L Pantera
Member Cars Past and Present
Brian Conant has owned his car for about 18 years. He has spent most of that time totally rebuilding it from the ground up. He has added billet suspension and brakes with Hall Pantera units. This cat's different, powered by a warmed over Chevy LT-1 engine. It only has 27,000 miles on the odometer and back on the street.
Dennis and Bobbi Yogi's '73 Pantera L, '71 Pushbutton Pantera, '70 Mangusta
Dennis bought his first Pantera, '73 L, in San Francisco, California with 23,000 miles on the clock and brought it home in 2004. It has gone through some subtile iimprovements over the years and is a reliable driver. The '71 Pushbutton is the original "Hawaii 5-0 Pantera" used in the Hawaii 5-0 episode Death Wish on Tantalus Mountain" guest starring Richardo Montalban. It was being stored in a garage with only 28,000 miles on the odometer. The Mangusta was found while recruiting members for our local Pantera club. The owner asked if we would be interested in buying it, an offer that we couldn't turn down. The car had 24,000 miles on it when purchased in December of 2006. His Mangusta and 73L has been sold. The Hawaii Five-0 Pantera is still with him on the '9th Island'.

Mark Rodrigues's 1974 Pantera L
Mark recently purchased this beautifully restored 47,000 mile Pantera, found right here in Hawaii. This car went through a total ground up restore and sports a plethora of performance parts. Sadly, Mark has since sold this car a year ago as he continues to persue his drag racing passion.
Robert found this GTS which was parked for years. The previous owner had started the restoration project but never finished it. It was left to rust away. Luckily surface rust set in and acted like a sealer preserving the car. He recently completed the beautiful resoration.
Howard and Doreen Akamine's 1974 L
This car was purchased from Dennis Daley at a "fire sale" price. The car is extremely lowered and is equipped with a professionally built 377ci stroker Cleveland, a brace of Weber carburetors, and 180 exhaust
Hal originally owned this car and sold it to Paradise Pantera member Robert Stuhr. When Robert purchased his 1974 GTS, he sold it back to Hal who had wanted another Pantera since he parted with this car. Seems only right that it's back with him!
Tim Wiley's 1974 Pantera L
Tim Wiley purchased his car from the mainland. While being shipped to Hawaii, the vehicle was severely damaged when it broke loose in it's shipping container. The car was shipped to Tommy Hodges at Extreme Pantera and the result is this beautiful, totally restored head turner.
Brought this 1972 Pre L Pantera to Hawaii from California after a job transfer. Second owner since 1983 during which it's gone through some customary upgrades and improvements such as upgraded cooling, ignition system, seats and 17" Boyd Campy-look wheels.
